Teaching Overview

My goal is to support each person in developing confidence, awareness, and trust in their own artistic voice.

Areas of Teaching

My teaching includes:

  • Private flute instruction and studio teaching

  • Masterclasses and residencies

  • Workshops based on Modal Flute Warmup, focused on listening, awareness, and expressive exploration

  • Workshops focused on creativity, reflection, and artistic development

Across all settings, my role is to guide and support students as they grow into thoughtful, self-directed artists with the tools to continue evolving long after our work together.

We really appreciate you taking the time to work with our students. They really need the exposure to all of these creative ideas and possibilities for what they could create someday.

Thank you for sharing your artistry, inspiration, and wisdom with all of us. From the moment your first masterclass started the energy, kindness, and time you gave to everyone was second to none! Your book Modal Flute Warmup was fun, engaging, and informative, and your presence was wonderful. The graciousness you brought to all the students throughout the entire weekend was motivating which left us inspired and grateful.
